RIB FEST and Program: RAINBOWS OF HOPE; A Day At the 

Louisiana State Prison. Sponsored by your FLOC Committee! 

 

You and your friends are invited to a Rib Fest with all the trimmings on Saturday, June 25th, 2022 at 5:00 p.m.

 

There will be a special program presented by the Bruces to share their experience of seeing firsthand how Jesus can change the hearts of people, even the roughest members of society! The maximum security prison of  Louisiana State Penitentiary was listed among the worst in the United States, following close behind Alcatraz. An innovative prison warden realized that the only way to change these prisoners was to change their hearts and morals. You will see how he did that just during this short presentation. It will fill you with hope and joy to see how Jesus can and does change lives for the better. 

 

If you would care to bring a salad to share, it would be delightful but certainly not necessary! We just hope you will be able to join us. A freewill offering will be taken to defray the cost of the ribs. (Any excess over the cost will be applied to one of the  missions we support.)
